For some time I experimented with some superhero costumes. I call this one "Weightless Watermelon." The rig concepts were, at this stage, getting more complex and involved. I was experimenting with shoulder/hip rigs. The elbow/knee rigs were about right, but there were a lot of muscles/tendons in the legs and upper arms that yet were not accounted for.
Although I did a fairly good job of hiding the poor deforms in these renders, they still bothered me a lot, and it took at least another year from this point to find a rig that worked. I have put several tutorials online for those who want good shoulder/hip/elbow/knee deforms in Blender. Look them up! Or ask me for links.
