By this time, I had been playing with the new rig on Princess Verachantesse for some time, but with an old mesh that was starting to show signs of inability to handle the more-advanced joint deforms I needed. So I made a mesh based on TomCAT's excellent mesh-making tutorial and began using it.
Annya-Leona had been a modification of Princess Verachantesse now for over a year, but now she became something new. A new mesh, and I started playing with a bunch of new ways of generating hair. Here you can see my attempts to use Hair Tool.
Using this mesh proved fruitful! In another month or two, I moved Princess Verachanesse over to using this mesh.
