For a short while I started into basic animation, building out keyframes for walk cycles and such. But the more I worked with her, the more dissatisfied I became with the deforms I was getting. This is around the time I started considering making my own custom rig from scratch. It still took several months of agonising, though, since obviously rigging from scratch would be a lot of work. If you look at recent 2022 renders, though, I think you'll agree it was worth the years of effort I put into it.
